Established in 1860, Battersea Dogs & Cats Home is a charity that aims never to turn away a dog or cat in need of our help. We reunite lost dogs and cats with their owners; when we can’t do this, we care for them until new homes can be found for them; we educate the public about responsible pet ownership. Every year the Home takes in around 12,000 dogs and cats, in addition to the site in south west London, the home also has two other centres based at Old Windsor, Berkshire and Brands Hatch, Kent.
To help enable us to fulfil our commitments providing the very highest standards of care for Battersea dogs & cats, some of whom unfortunately arrive at the home in a very poor state. Resources such as veterinary care, up keep of kennel standards, help desk support and so on need to be maintained. This maintenance is supported by several different streams of income one of which is retail both on site and on-line. We supply a wide range of pet essentials for both cats and dogs such as collars & leads, treats & food, toys, grooming aids and much more.
